African market

Most countries in North Africa do not use dogs as commodity marks. Some countries in South Africa like owls. Africans generally think black is unlucky, Chad, Nigeria, Togo and other countries think red is unlucky, Mauritanians like light colors, Moroccans like red, green and black, and think white is the opposite color. Most Africans prefer bright shades, but preferences for patterns and colors vary from country to country.

1. Egypt Egyptians love pyramids, Islamic symbols, Persian art patterns. Pyramid patterns or Islamic and Persian art patterns on product packaging are popular. In Egypt, Lotus and Crocodile are used as totems, which are sacred and inviolable, and they are avoided in business. Pandas are not used in Egypt because they look like fat pigs. Egypt believes that green is a national color with religious colors; red, green and orange, light blue and turquoise on a white or black background are ideal colors; blue is a symbol of the devil.

2. Libya Libya stipulates that the use of pig patterns on product packaging is prohibited, and female body patterns are also prohibited. Libyans see green as positive.
